Wheel Alignment

If your vehicle pulls, your wheel sits crooked, or your tires are wearing on one edge, an alignment pays for itself in tires you don't have to replace early.

Signs you may need wheel alignment

Vehicle pulls or drifts to one side
Steering wheel sits crooked when driving straight
Tires wearing faster on one edge
Steering feels loose or vague
New tires you want to protect

An alignment is one of the few repairs that pays you back. If your vehicle pulls, the wheel sits crooked, or your tires are wearing on one edge, the angles are off — and every mile like that is grinding money off a set of tires you'd rather not replace early.

What being out of alignment actually does

When camber, caster, and toe drift out of spec, the tires scrub instead of rolling clean. You get uneven wear, a pull you have to fight, and a steering wheel that's no longer centered. We measure all the angles, compare them to the manufacturer's spec, and bring them back where they belong — then confirm it on a test drive.

When you actually need one

Get an alignment if the vehicle pulls, the wheel is off-center, or you're seeing edge or feathered tire wear. It's also worth doing after suspension or steering work, after hitting a serious pothole or curb, and whenever you put on a new set of tires. Lifted trucks and diesels especially benefit, since bigger tires and changed geometry make wear add up fast.

Cheap insurance for an expensive set of tires

A new set of tires is a real expense, and driving them out of alignment can ruin them in a few thousand miles. An alignment is small money next to that — it protects the tire investment and gives you back straight, predictable steering. If a worn suspension part is throwing the angles off, we'll catch that first, since an alignment only holds when the parts underneath are solid.

Wheel Alignment — common questions

How do I know if I need an alignment?

Common signs are a pull to one side, a steering wheel that's crooked when you're going straight, and tires wearing more on one edge. If you've got any of those, it's worth a check before the tires pay for it.

Should I get an alignment with new tires?

It's the smart play. New tires are a real investment, and if the alignment's off they'll wear unevenly fast. Aligning at install protects that money and gives you straight, even wear from day one.

Why does my steering wheel sit crooked when I'm driving straight?

That usually means the toe is out of adjustment, often after hitting a curb or pothole or after suspension work. We reset the angles to spec so the wheel sits centered and the tires track straight.
